The short version: Nobodyssey collects nothing about you. There is no account, no cookies, no analytics and no ads, and nothing you do in the game is sent to us.
What stays on your device
The game keeps your saved progress in your browser's storage on this device, so you can close it and carry on later. Your settings, such as text size, sound and read-aloud, are kept the same way. It also remembers your answer to "Who is playing?" (it only sets text size, reading speed and read-aloud) and which tips you have already seen. So the game can open with no signal, your browser also keeps a copy of the game's files.
If you are a tester, the tester agreement you signed is kept here too: the name you typed (and a parent's, if one signed), the time, your age bracket, a receipt code and a short description of your browser.
None of this leaves your device unless you move your save yourself (see Sharing below), except the tester signature, which is sent to us once (see Testers below). We can't see your saves, and we couldn't get them back for you if they were lost.
What we don't do
- No account, sign-in or email address.
- No cookies.
- No analytics, tracking pixels or fingerprinting.
- No ads, and nothing to buy.
- No chat or messages between players.
- We never sell or share anything about you.
- Nothing loads from anyone else's servers. The fonts and pictures come from this site.
Sharing
The "Share the link" button and the game's voyage card use your device's own share menu. Where there is none, they copy the link or save the picture instead. You pick who gets them. We don't see what you share or with whom.
Move my voyage, in Settings, turns your saved game into a link, a code or a small file, so you can carry it to another device. It carries your whole save, though nothing about you. Send it only to yourself or your family. In the link, the save sits after the # sign, and browsers never send that part to a website, so it does not reach us.
Read-aloud
Read-aloud is off until you turn it on, in Settings or by choosing "Me, with someone reading" at the start. It uses the voices already on your device. Only if a device has none does the browser use an online voice, and then the line being read goes to the browser's maker, such as Google or Microsoft, to be spoken. That is the game's own words, never anything about you.
The web host
The site is served by GitHub Pages. Like any web host, GitHub sees your device's internet address while it sends you the pages, and keeps it in its own logs to protect its servers. We have added no analytics, and we can't see who visits.
Testers
When you sign the tester agreement, your signature (the names you typed, the time, your age bracket, the version, a receipt code and a short description of your browser) is sent once to a small service of ours on Cloudflare and stored there with the internet address and country it came from. It is our record that you agreed, used for nothing else, never shared or linked to your play, and deleted three years after Book One is released unless a legal claim needs it. No signal when you sign? It is sent the next time you open the game.
If you write to us
Write to game@aztmm.com. We see your email address and what you wrote, and use them only to answer you and act on what you said. We keep emails for up to 24 months after the conversation ends, then delete them, and we never put you on a mailing list.
Deleting your saves
Your saves are yours. Clearing this site's data in your browser deletes the saves, the settings, any tester record and the offline copy together.
- iPhone and iPad: Settings › Apps › Safari › Advanced › Website Data (on older iOS, Settings › Safari › Advanced › Website Data). Find aztmm.com and delete it. If you added the game to your Home Screen, delete that icon too.
- Chrome, on Android or a computer: open aztmm.com, tap the icon to the left of the address, open the site settings and choose to delete its data.
- Safari on a Mac: Safari › Settings › Privacy › Manage Website Data, then remove aztmm.com.
- Firefox: Settings › Privacy & Security › Cookies and Site Data › Manage Data, then remove aztmm.com.
Age
The game is made for players 13 and up. It never asks anyone for an email address or a birthday, and it collects nothing, so there is nothing about any child for us to keep. If a child under 13 writes to us, we reply once, ask for a parent, and delete the email.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us what we hold about you (at most, your emails to us), and ask us to correct or delete it. Write to game@aztmm.com and we will answer within 30 days. In the EU and UK we handle your emails on the basis of our legitimate interest in answering you, and you may complain to your data protection authority. In California and elsewhere in the US: we don't sell or share personal information, or use it for advertising.
Changes
If any of this changes, this page will change first, with a new date at the top. If the game ever starts sending anything about you anywhere, we will say so here and in the game before it happens, and ask you first where the law requires.

The short version. Nobodyssey collects nothing about you. No account, no cookies, no analytics, no ads, no tracking, and nothing you do in the game is sent to us. Your saves and settings stay on your device. If you email us, we see your email and use it only to answer you.
Who we are. AZTMM HLDGS LLC ("AZTMM", "we"), United States. Contact: game@aztmm.com. This policy covers aztmm.com (the "Site") and the game Nobodyssey in every version we publish (the "Game").
1. What stays on your device
The Game keeps the following in your browser's storage on your device (local storage, and the browser's offline cache). We never receive any of it.
| What | Why | Examples of what is stored |
|---|---|---|
| Your saved game, plus a backup copy | So you can stop and carry on later | Chapter, position, items, the crew's state |
| Your settings | So the Game remembers how you like it | Text size, sound, mute, read-aloud, less motion, mono sound, captions, haptics, control layout |
| Your answer to "Who is playing?" | It only sets text size, reading speed and read-aloud | The choice you picked, not a name or age |
| Tips you have already seen | So the same tip doesn't keep appearing | Flags such as "the turn was taught" |
| The offline copy of the Game | So it opens with no signal | The Game's own files |
| Testers only: your signature record | So the beta gate knows you signed, and can show your receipt | The name or names you typed, the time, your age bracket, a receipt code, the version you signed, and the first 120 characters of your browser's description (its "user agent"). This record is also sent to us (section 3). |
None of this is a cookie, and none of it is read by us or anyone else or leaves your device unless you move it yourself (section 3), except the tester signature record, which is sent to us once, as described in section 3. Because it lives only on your device, we cannot see it, correct it or recover it if it is lost.
Deleting it. Clearing this site's data in your browser deletes your saves, settings, signature record and the offline copy together. The Privacy page on the Site gives the steps for each browser.
2. What we don't do
- No account, sign-in, email address, phone number or birthday is asked for to play.
- No cookies.
- No analytics, tracking pixels, fingerprinting, crash reporting or advertising identifiers.
- No ads, and nothing to buy.
- No chat or messages between players.
- No sale or sharing of personal information, for money or otherwise.
- Nothing loads from anyone else's servers: the fonts, pictures and code all come from aztmm.com.
3. When something does leave your device
Your tester signature. When a tester signs the tester agreement at the gate, the signature record (the name or names typed, the time, the age bracket, the version signed, a receipt code and the first 120 characters of the browser's description) is sent once to a small service of ours on Cloudflare, which stores it in a database together with the internet address and country it came from. This is our evidence that the agreement was signed, and it is used for nothing else: not for marketing, not shared, and not linked to anything you do in the game. We keep it for as long as the tester agreement can matter (until three years after Book One is released, or longer only if needed for a legal claim), then delete it. If it cannot be sent when you sign (no signal), the gate sends it the next time you open the game. Cloudflare, Inc. hosts this service for us under its own privacy terms.
If you email us. When you write to game@aztmm.com, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you write or attach (for example, a tester's receipt code, or a screenshot sent to us as feedback). We use it only to answer you and to act on your feedback. Our email is hosted by Titan, which stores it on our behalf. We keep emails for up to 24 months after the conversation ends, or longer only if we need them for a legal claim, then delete them. We never add you to a mailing list unless you ask.
The web host. The Site is served by GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc., a subsidiary of Microsoft). Like any web host, GitHub receives your device's IP address and browser details when it sends you the pages, and keeps them in its own logs for security, under the GitHub Privacy Statement. We have not added analytics and we can't see who visits.
Read-aloud. Read-aloud is off until you turn it on. It uses the voices already on your device. Only if your device has none may your browser use an online voice, and then the line being read goes to the browser's maker (such as Google or Microsoft) to be spoken. That is the Game's own text, never anything about you, and it is governed by the browser maker's privacy terms.
Sharing and moving your save. "Share the link" and the voyage card use your device's own share menu; you choose who receives them, and we don't see what you share. "Move my voyage" turns your save into a link, a code or a small file. In a link, the save sits after the # sign, which browsers never send to a website, so it does not reach us. Your save holds nothing about you, but send it only to yourself or people you trust.
Links. The Site may link to other sites (for example, a store page or a video platform). Their own privacy policies apply once you leave aztmm.com.
4. Children and teens
The Game is made for players 13 and up and is not directed to children under 13. It collects no personal information from anyone, of any age, through the Game or the Site. The only way we could receive a child's personal information is if a child emails us. If we learn that a child under 13 has emailed us, we will use their address only to reply once, ideally to ask a parent to write instead, and then delete it, as the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act allows. Parents may ask us at game@aztmm.com to confirm that we hold nothing about their child, or to delete any email their child sent. Testers aged 13 to 17 need a parent's or guardian's consent to sign the tester agreement; the parent's name is part of the signature record.
5. Your rights
Everyone
You may ask us at game@aztmm.com what personal information we hold about you (which, at most, is your emails to us), to correct it, or to delete it. We will answer within 30 days, free of charge, and may ask you to write from the same address to confirm it's you.
EU and UK (GDPR and UK GDPR)
- Controller: AZTMM HLDGS LLC is the controller only for emails you send us and for testers' signature records. For the data in section 1, which stays on your device and is never sent to us, we do not process personal data at all.
- Legal basis: we handle your emails on the basis of our legitimate interest in answering you and improving the Game (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)); we keep testers' signature records because they are necessary for the tester agreement itself (art. 6(1)(b)) and to establish and defend legal claims. Cloudflare is our processor for the signature records.
- Device storage: the storage in section 1 is strictly necessary to give you the service you asked for (to save your game and settings), so it does not need your consent under the ePrivacy Directive art. 5(3) or the UK's PECR reg. 6.
- Your rights: access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and portability (GDPR arts. 15-21). You may also complain to your data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office).
- International transfer: we are in the United States, so your email is held in the US.
- Representative: our processing is occasional and low-risk, so we have not appointed an EU or UK representative (GDPR art. 27(2)(a)).
- No automated decisions or profiling.
California (CCPA as amended by the CPRA) and other US states
We do not meet the thresholds that make a company a "business" under the California Consumer Privacy Act, and the same is true of the other US state privacy laws. Even so: we do not sell or share personal information, we do not use it for targeted advertising, we collect no sensitive personal information, and we would honour a Global Privacy Control signal if we ever had something to opt you out of. In the last 12 months the only categories of personal information we have received are identifiers and the content of messages (your email address and what you wrote, if you emailed us) and, for testers, identifiers (the signature record above), from you, to answer you or to record your agreement, disclosed to no one but our email host and Cloudflare acting for us.
6. Security
Because we hold so little, there is little to lose. Our email account is protected with a strong password and two-factor authentication. If we ever discover that emails we hold were accessed without permission, we will tell the people affected and any authority as the law requires (including New York's SHIELD Act where it applies). Report a security concern to game@aztmm.com.
7. Changes
If any of this changes, this page changes first, with a new date at the top. If a change means the Game would start sending anything about you anywhere, we will say so on the Site and in the Game before it happens, and ask for your consent where the law requires.
